Prepare your CSV file
How to turn your Excel or system data into a CSV file RABT can import.
RABT imports CSV files. Save your Excel file as CSV UTF-8 before importing.
From Excel
- Open your file in Excel.
- Choose File → Save As.
- For the file type, choose CSV UTF-8 (Comma delimited).
- Save. Use this new .csv file for the import.
UTF-8 keeps Arabic text correct. From Google Sheets, choose File → Download → Comma-separated values (.csv).
Check your file
- One header row at the top, then one record per row.
- Column names can be in Arabic or English. RABT suggests which column matches which field, and you can change any match.
- Plain numbers for prices and quantities, without currency symbols.
- Dates in sales history as YYYY-MM-DD, for example 2026-03-15.
- Up to 5 MB per file. Split larger files.
Import in this order
Each file can only match records that already exist:
- Customers — sales history is matched to customers by their exact name in RABT.
- Products — sales history is matched to products by SKU, so include SKUs.
- Sales history — your past orders.
Then follow Import customers and products and Import your sales history.
