Stalled deals

Why a deal appears as Stalled, and how to move it forward.

Stalled deals are open deals that have not moved within your company's stall period.

The rule

A deal appears when both are true:

  1. It is open — not won and not lost.
  2. It has had no change and no recorded activity for at least a set number of days — 14 days unless your company changed it.

"Last touched" is the later of two dates: the deal's last change (for example a stage move or an edit) and its latest activity on the timeline, such as a logged call or note.

The number of days is set in Settings → Company → Commercial rules → Deal is stalled after (days).

The evidence on each row

Each row shows the deal, its customer, its stage and value, and how many days since it was last touched.

What to do

  • Decide the next step and create a follow-up.
  • If something happened that was not recorded — a call, a visit — log it on the deal.
  • Move the deal to the right stage, or close it as Won or Lost if it is decided.

Any of these clears the signal, because the deal has been touched again.
