Awaiting reply
Why a quotation appears as Awaiting reply, and how to clear it.
Awaiting reply means a quotation was sent and no answer has been recorded in RABT yet.
The rule
A quotation appears when both are true:
- Its status is Sent.
- It was sent at least a set number of days ago — 7 days unless your company changed it.
The number of days is set in Settings → Company → Commercial rules → Follow up a quotation after (days).
What RABT does not do
RABT does not read your email or WhatsApp conversations. If the customer answered by phone or message, RABT cannot know until someone records it. The quotation stays on this list until its status changes.
The evidence on each row
Each row shows the quotation number, the customer, when it was sent, how many days ago, its total and its valid-until date.
What to do
- Follow up with the customer — create a follow-up or open WhatsApp from the quotation.
- When you have an answer, record it: change the status to Accepted or Rejected. An accepted quotation can then be converted to an order.
Recording answers keeps this list short and accurate, and it keeps each customer's quotation win rate in Commercial Memory correct.
