Ready to reorder

Why a customer appears as Ready to reorder, and what to do about it.

Ready to reorder means a customer is around their usual time to buy a product again.

The rule

A product appears for a customer when both are true:

  1. The customer has bought the product at least 3 times — enough to show a repeated purchase.
  2. The days since their last purchase of it are more than their average gap between purchases of that product.

Cancelled orders are not counted.

The evidence on each row

Open Why RABT shows this to see the evidence: when the customer last bought the product, their usual interval, the shortest and longest gaps, and how many purchases the pattern is based on.

What it does not mean

It does not mean the customer has decided to order, or that they will. It means their own history shows they usually have ordered by now. They may have bought elsewhere, changed their needs or be about to order — that is what your follow-up finds out.

What to do

When it disappears

The signal clears when a new order for the product is recorded, because the gap starts again from that order.
