What are Signals?
The four signals, how RABT finds them, and what they are not.
Signals point out customers, quotations and deals that may need your attention. Home shows how many there are; the Signals page shows each one with the reason it appears.
The four signals
Customer signals — from your customers' order history:
- Ready to reorder — a customer is around their usual time to buy a product again.
- Going quiet — a regular customer has not ordered within their usual buying pattern.
Sales signals — from your quotations and deals:
- Awaiting reply — a quotation was sent and no answer has been recorded yet.
- Stalled deals — an open deal has not moved within your stall period.
How RABT finds them
Each signal follows a fixed, written rule applied to your own records — the same data always gives the same result. Every row shows its evidence under Why RABT shows this: the purchases and gaps behind a customer signal, or the date a quotation was sent.
Signals describe what has already happened in your records. They do not guess what a customer intends, and they are not a forecast.
What you see
You see signals for the records you can see: a salesperson sees their own customers, quotations and deals; managers see the whole team. The day limits for Awaiting reply and Stalled deals are set in Settings → Company → Commercial rules.
What to do with a signal
Decide whether it needs action, then act on it — usually by creating a follow-up.
